In lieu of working on my own knitting project tonight I decided to share some pictures with you that I took in Wan Xian, China. This little lady was spotted knitting when we were on our way to visit a family who was relocated because of the Dam Project. Lack of time prevented me from checking out her project, but I wanted to know what she was knitting and what kind of yarn she was using. Bamboo perhaps? Maybe she was making something for the darling little girl on the corner.

LOVE the cross-cultural post! Knitting brings the world together. Maybe we should teach all our leaders to knit and insist that they do so during their diplomatic negotiations.
